EMAIL from BILLY ARR
Hi. Dianne Herald, at the Idle Hour Bar, has been more than just VERY BUSY these past few weeks and asked me to again email everyone concerned. By now, you've probably heard that Bobby (the owner) was stricken with throat cancer sometime ago and is in his 6th week of chemo & radiation. *He's very sick and frail, but still holding his own. Medicare of course is not handling all the expenses incurred and we're all trying to raise a few bucks to help out. We're having a BIG todo at the bar this Saturday, the 16th, starting about 1 pm and going til closing. There'll be "cold beer", lots of entertainment, (a stage in the parking lot outback) plenty of great food, and a late afternoon auction of some really cool donated items, guitars etc. Please stop by and help us be successful on this if you possibly can. Thanks, from all the "regs" and the staff at the bar. PS: If any of you would LIKE to bring a dish as well, please call the bar (726-0446) and get in touch with Janie Case, who is handling the dining table "stuff". Thanks again, Billy Arr
Don't forget, there'll be a generous buffet spread of great delicious FREE food, hours of good Music, (writers & artists alike), and an auction of fabulous, donated items for the afternoon auction. THE BEER COMPANIES, GIBSON GUITARS and a lot of other good people were very generous with their donations. It all kicks off at 1pm, this Saturday the 16th and goes til closing. BE THERE Y'ALL! . . . . . . You Too, Roger
and Marlys . . . and Michelle and Patricia. Tell your friends, please . . . ..Bobby really needs our help!
